Thank You, and How Do You Do?

Hello again!

Blimey, a lot's happened since I last wrote a journal on here- the highlights have to include hitting the 2000 pageview mark and a surprise feature here fav.me/d7poxqq by DailyLitRecognition! Just... wow. So I just want to say thank you very much to everyone who has supported me and who continues to support me and my endeavours (although that sort of makes it sound like I've run a marathon, or attempted to break the world record for eating the most cake. Or both at the same time... now that would be an achievement...) Because it is you lot, you marvellous people, who read my poems and stories and general random witterings, that encourage me to keep writing and who make Deviantart the wonderful place that it is. So thank you again!

Anyhoo, apart from that, my experiences of Summer so far have been quite good, apart from a scuffle with a Greek beach umbrella and the persistent, and entirely unwanted, attentions of a seagull in London..... Oh well. The weather in the UK has been incredibly stormy lately, which I love- it's the smell of the approaching rain, and the lightning and thunder cracks that shake you awake in the middle of the night. But not always rain with it though, which is odd- it's just what I think of as angry weather. As if the universe is furious about something- hmm...

And, of course, I'm counting down the days until 23rd August, and the re-materialization (see what I did there?) of my favourite tv show- aaah, I can't wait to see what the new Doctor is like! The trailer looks quite dark and scary in comparison to previous series. What do you think?
